How to Make a Miami Vice Cocktail

This simple guide can help you make this refreshing summer cocktail with ease. If you like rum, piña colada and the taste of strawberries, you can't not mix this.

What you need:

• One jigger or 5 ounces of 151 rum
• 8 ounces of piña colada mix
• 8 ounces of strawberry daiquiri mix
• 1½ scoop of crushed ice
• Blender
• Mixing glass or large cup

Mixing the Drink

Add Ice

First, put your 1½ scoops of crushed ice in the blender.

Add Rum

Throw in 2½ ounces of the 151 rum.

Add Piña Colada Mix

Add 8 ounces of the piña colada mix.

Blend

Blend it for 30 seconds.

Pour

After blending, pour the blended liquid into a mixing glass or a large cup.

Now we're going to prepare the other color, which is the strawberry daiquiri mix. Be sure to clean the blender before preparing.

Repeat for Daiquiri Mix

Follow steps 1-4 again, replacing the piña colada with your strawberry daiquiri mix instead.

Presentation

After preparing the two frozen ingredients, prepare a very nice glass in your house; first pour the piña colada mix in the glass, followed by the strawberry daiquiri mix. Pour it very carefully and be sure that the red strawberry mix will not combine with the white piña colada mix, so you can form a horizontal design.

You can add a garnish if you want, like a slice of pineapple fruit or a cherry.
