Frankly, I think it sounds pretty unappetizing, but to some the hopsicle may be the perfect drunken summer treat.
Diablo Royale Este (a Mexican saloon in NYC's east village) has created the ultimate adult popsicle. A beer is injected with simple syrup and lime juice, and a wooden popsicle stick is inserted in the hole of the can. The Hopsicle is then kept in the freezer for four days. Then patrons have a choice: eat it as is or bathe in tequilla.
Sound good? Sounds simple enough to do-it-yourself. Report back!
